Wesley Snipes will join Bad Lieutenant director Abel Ferrara for Game of Death and they had previously worked together on King of New York in 1990. Game of Death will co-star The Expendables's Gary Daniels and Death Proof’s Zoë Bell and they started filming in 2009 in Detroit, Michigan. Director Abel Ferrara exited the project after a few weeks of shooting to concentrate on Jekyll and Hyde (2010), so director Giorgio Serafini entered the project
